On September 23, 2010, Amy Buono delivered a lecture on “Colonial Brazilian Aldeias as Dystopias” for the Department of Art History, University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Her talk was part of in a lecture series with the theme: “Utopia & Dystopia: Brazilian Art & Culture in a Latin American Context.” Amy has also been invited to be the keynote speaker at the University of North Texas, Department of Art History, Graduate Student Symposium on April 16, 2011.
